iPic - Account and Data Deletion Policy
If you no longer wish to use iPic and want your account and associated data permanently deleted, you can request account deletion at any time.
How to Request Account Deletion
You have two ways to delete your account and data:
- Inside the App (Instant): Open the iPic app, log in, navigate to your Profile/Settings, and tap the "Delete Account" button. Your account will be deleted immediately.
- Via Email (Within 7 Days): Send an email to twinventuresdb@gmail.com from the email address associated with your iPic account. Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will process your request within 7 business days.
What Data is Deleted?
- Personal Information: Name, username, email address, date of birth, and profile picture.
- Authentication Data: Google Sign-In link and/or encrypted password.
- Media: All uploaded photos, videos, and thumbnails.
- Social Data: Friends list, trip memberships, and notifications.
- Trips: Any trips owned solely by you will be permanently deleted, including associated media.
What Data is Kept / Retention Period
- Immediate Deletion: Profile, media, and credentials are removed from active systems immediately.
- Backups: Encrypted backups may retain data for up to 30 days for recovery purposes, after which it is permanently deleted.
- Shared Trips: Your presence and media are removed from shared trips you leave.
